East Hawaii residents are invited to attend three upcoming Coffee With a Cop events in Papa‘aloa, Hilo, and Volcano, to get to know their district police officers.

These popular events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

Stop by and get to know your district and Community Policing Officers over a cup of coffee!.

The events are:

• Monday, 8-10 a.m. at the Papaaloa Park Annex Building, 35-1994 Government Main Rd. in Papa‘aloa;

• Tuesday, 9-10:30 a.m. at Big Island Coffee Roasters, 76 Kalanianaole Ave. in Hilo; and

• Thursday, 8-9:30 a.m. at Cooper Center, 19-4030 Wright Rd. in Volcano.

If you have questions about the Coffee With a Cop event, please get in touch with the respective districts: Hamakua Patrol at (808) 775-7533; Hilo Community Policing Officer Duane Rapoza at (808) 961-2350; or Puna Community Policing Officer at Bryson Miyose (808) 965-2716.
